Mental Health Support for Students 

Upswing is partnering with TimelyMD to provide virtual, on-demand, mental health support to students at our partner schools. In addition to Upswing's existing mental health module, we will provide pass-through access to TalkNow, allowing students to connect with trained mental health counselors who can address their needs.

While the number of students seeking mental health resources on campuses across the country has risen 35 percent since 2014, the number of licensed counselors on staff has not grown proportionately to meet this need: some campuses only have one counselor for every 4,000 students. Upswing seeks to help close this gap.
